1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is L'Atelier Cordage ("we"). Contact for anything about your data: ateliercordage@gmail.com.

2. What we collect and why

• Mailing list ("Join us") — your email address, to send you news about our launch and drops. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Kept until you unsubscribe.
• Contact form — your name, email and message, to reply to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). Kept for up to 2 years.
• Security — a one-way hash of your IP address is stored briefly (at most 1 hour) to prevent spam and abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Analytics — we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

3. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your shopping cart is saved in your browser's local storage only so it isn't lost when you reload the page; this is strictly necessary and needs no consent.

4. Who processes your data for us

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting (servers in Frankfurt, EU).
• MongoDB Inc. (Atlas) — database (servers in Frankfurt, EU).
• Resend — sending emails.

Some of these companies are based in the USA. Where data may be transferred outside the EU, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the data we hold about you and get a copy,
• have it corrected or deleted,
• restrict or object to processing,
• data portability,
• withdraw your consent at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link),
• lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), uoou.gov.cz.
